This week at VIA, I continued a lot of the projects that I had started the week prior. I created promos for Poldark, Durrells in Corfu and started a new series, Retro Report. The promos for Retro Report were a bit different, because the episodes air on both Monday and Tuesday nights as opposed to once a week, so they required more air time per week.
I also learned how to take the entries I had put into the VIA Promotions Database and actually schedule my shows for airtime using the computer program ProTrak. ProTrak essentially allows you to see when your shows are scheduled for and when they are currently airing, as well as to actually put them into a queue for air time and date. While these entries were a bit tedious, it was interesting to see how shows actually get scheduled.

Finally, I worked Wednesday instead of Thursday this week because the winners of VIA’s country music contest were coming in for shoots of their 3 songs . I only got to stay for the filming of the first performer (shown above), but during that time I took behind-the-scenes photos and shot some 4K video of him performing his winning songs.
